The story of the Good Samaritan resonates so deeply that it compels us to perceive the need, cross the road and do all we can to bring support, relief and justice to the communities that we belong to locally and globally.

In Luke 10, we read about the Good Samaritan. A man was beaten and abandoned - left to suffer and ultimately die. Now, it would seem ‘lucky’ that a Samaritan man walked by the victim at the right time, but it wasn’t luck. God was positioning him and using his mercy, generosity and availability to provide a miracle to this lost and hurting person.

When so much in our world doesn't make sense, having a safe space to ask questions about life and faith over a meal and a short talk is a great way to give people the opportunity to explore a relationship with Jesus - that's what Alpha is all about!

We all go through challenging times when a listening ear and a supportive voice can make all the difference. By equipping and deploying chaplains, we give people in our local communities the opportunity to access the support and care they so desperately need.

We want to be a valuable, accessible part of our local communities and our free programs make that possible - Mainly Music, Messy Monday and Baby Connect all welcome hundreds of families into our Impact Community. These programs coupled with our relief fund (which provides direct assistance to our community) see real needs met at a local level.

The digital world gives us limitless opportunities to introduce people to a relationship with Jesus. Our weekly program “Impact Online” gathers, teaches and pastors beyond our physical reach while our brand new “IM Talking” podcast has real, messy, authentic conversations that open the door for the next step toward faith.

Partnering with Mercy Indonesia enables us to reach past our shores and bring practical assistance through mission trips, care for orphans, support for church planters and the message of Jesus shared through the accessible medium of radio.

We recognise and respect Indigenous people across our nation and want to do all we can to be a part of the conversation of unity, empowerment and reconciliation. Our outback trips carry our heart to connect, serve and honour Indigenous communities.

Young people are our future. They are future leaders in church and the community, future parents and caregivers and future business leaders. We carry a huge responsibility to reach and raise a generation to realise their destiny and that’s where Youth Alive plays a vital role. Through events, regional gatherings and school tours, Youth Alive connects young people with their purpose as they get to know Jesus.
